C'mon Spring!!

Gesso, the white paint on the cardboard roof piece I tried white cheesecloth first but it got lost on the white roof.

I've been seeing so many posts on Facebook lately announcing how many days til spring, that when I was trying to come up with a unique altered project as well as a spring-themed project to display at my local scrapbook store, Papercraft Cafe, this idea just popped into my head! I got the cute plain wooden cutout from Michael's  and dressed it up with dry-embossed woodgrain paper, spanish moss, patterned paper, corrugated cardboard, cheesecloth and pearls. The number tags are cut from chipboard and hang from tiny nails.

Spring is when I come alive; a time of new beginnings, renewed energy and fresh hope! May spring bring you all of these things and more! Hugs!!
